I tried calling their HQ but the IVR put me in the regular customer service queue so I can't get to anyone who can actually help me. I have been unable to get to a corporate customer service department. I assume they screwed up by enabling my husband's phone to keep these features. Three service tickets and more than 50 hours on the phone with reps later, I have come to learn that Verizon won't allow users who bring their own devices to have these add-ons. I also didn't have the Call Filter add-on anymore, even though I had both add-ons for years.

As the account holder, I didn't understand how I didn't have this add-on anymore. My husband's device had Visual Voicemail. Shortly after that, I noticed that I no longer had Visual Voicemail. My husband and I took our new devices to a Verizon store to get 5G SIM cards and the store rep inserted the cards and did a Samsung Switch to transfer our apps, texts, etc. The site showed "This device is compatible with the Verizon network." I also called Verizon to be sure that I could keep the same plan and add-ons and I was told I could. Before making the purchase, I checked on Verizon's site to be sure that the IMEI number was one that Verizon would service. For the first time ever, I bought devices directly from Samsung instead of through Verizon because Samsung offered the same model but with 1TB of storage instead of the 512 MB of storage that Verizon offered. I am about to switch to another carrier and the reason is stupid, because there's an easy fix to keep me as their customer but I can't get anyone to help me. I have been a Verizon customer for 14 years. They Promised I'd Keep Add-Ons But Then Refused to Turn Them On My New Device - After 14 Years I'm No Longer Feeling The Love Anybody that goes to Verizon probably better be prepared to deal with them on a monthly basis and be on hold times forever not to mention the overcharge is that they were given people that they are going into arbitration for right now these guys are crooks

I guess I’m really starting to understand why their stock is in the toilet and they are losing so many customers. $200 is a shot in the dark compared to what I pay these guys on an annual basis especially where I have been a customer for over 20 years. Well that’s exactly what I intend to do not only my personal lines but my business lines as well. Here’s another typical Verizon employee not following through with what you talked to them about and the company not taken responsibility and it coming back and costing you the customer in this case over $200 even after being on the phone for quite a while with Verizon they pretty much all but encouraged me to go to another company and offered me a pin transfer my numbers.
